Ego is a Designer’s Worst Enemy

For designers, ego can be a huge source of confidence or a huge source of arrogance. Ego can come from a lot of different places. For some people, including myself at one point, the more experience we get, the more we can start to lose ourselves in making work and we forget to put our users first and foremost when designing products. I’ve also seen people get self absorbed based on the prestige of a company they are working for.
