The Brail Institute realizing this has been instrumental in the development of the typeface Atkinson Hyperlegible designed by the design firm Applied Design Works.

As graphic designers it is incumbent on us to consider all those who view the websites we create and realize that the people with 20/20 vision are not the only ones who influence the markets we create for.
