There are a lot of questions that go unasked. Let’s face it, there is a limit to our curiosity and how much do we really want to know about any given topic.
And then there’s trivia, little bits of information that is of little importance to pretty much everyone. They are the fun facts to know, but that’s about it.
“WHY ARE HYPERLINKS BLUE?” by Elise Blanchard is a deep dive into probably one of the least asked questions in design. It is an interesting article about something that I’m sure we have asked ourselves somewhere along the line but never really expecting an answer.
Design history is rich with little tidbits of information like this. It is a great read and I thank Elise Blanchard for this because now I know.
