Last month, Bill Gardner’s annual trends report was published in GD USA Magazine and on the Logo Lounge website. We were very honored to have our work included in the report among some of the individuals and design firms we admire most. We’d like to express our thanks to Mr. Gardner for including our work in his report.

MODERN RELIGION
From a design standpoint, these explorations are beautiful to view and demonstrate how a crafty designer can build an aesthetic fortress from completely vacuous elements. Exercising our design chops on fantasy projects is not completely bereft of value, though. This group has elegance of execution and each could, for example, represent another topic altogether after exchanging a moon, a hand, and a sword for a couple of roosters, a pig, and a chef’s hat.
The logo is for a series of prints for a side project called Anno Domini. The project focuses on traditional printing methods and historic Christian symbolism. You can see marks and prints in this style at www.AnnoDomini.design
Mr. Gardner’s report showed 60 different logos as examples of 15 different categories of trends he’s observed in 2018. Congrats to everyone mentioned in the report for being recognized as trendsetters and for their beautiful work in 2018. The full list of included designers is below.
