Hollywood Goodbyes and Focused Content

Phone calls in the movies almost never end with a proper goodbye. Why? A long goodbye would detract from the main storyline. The same is true with design. Dieter Rams once said “Good design is as little design as possible. Less, but better — because it concentrates on the essential aspects, and the products are not burdened with non-essentials.
